| I Would Describe Myself As | Let me start out by letting you know I do not own a bike. I've signed up for the motorcycle safety class but honestly, for more reasons than learning to ride, a valid license and knowing I can handle a bike on my own. I've always ridden behind someone and I love it. Holding onto someone I care about, feeling their strength beneath my hands, against my chest, trusting them to control the power, to keep me safe, moving together on a curve, in balance and harmony with the rumble, the wind, the road and the freedom is profoundly intimate and spiritual, at least to me. Lol I'm not sure I want to lose that. Does that make sense? If you're still with me, here are the basics- I'm 63, have 2 awesome kids, 2 incredible Grandkids, and am the true definition of a Pisces. I have quite a varied job history but I'm most proud of serving my country in the US Army. I have a good heart, a sense of humor that can go dark at times, love cooking, baking, making beautiful cakes and pretty darn good edibles. I sew, make costumes, my own patterns, monsters, do leatherwork, make jewelry, and my own dyes for tye dye. I love my power tools, woodworking, refinishing furniture, home repairs and building stuff and hoping to build a small forge in my backyard in the next few months. I also like dumpster diving, camping, D&D, old movies and my truck. I answer to Dani, Mom, Momma Bear and questions starting with "does anyone have...." Yes, I have it what do you need? I have NO patience for liars, thieves, cheaters and narcissistic a-holes- been there, done that, got the T-shirt, the scars and the CPO. |
