Hi, I am just a country gal looking to enjoy life again. I have a great life. God has blessed me over & over again. To all Veterans, thank you for your service & for getting home safe!
I have been widowed for 9 years now. I am a very outgoing & busy lady and I love everything in the outdoors. I love to laugh! I love to aggravate & be aggravated in a respectful manner. Its so much fun and keeps a person laughing.
I can be a hard-headed, strong-willed woman at times. Therefore, if you can't handle a challenge once in a while, I am not the woman for you or you the man for me.
I don't won't to argue, I want to compromise & talk it out if the need arises. Arguing doesn't accomplish anything.
I know what I want & do not want in my life. Stress & drama I do not want. I am a very independent lady!
C/W dancing, horseback riding, hunting (I have my own guns too), fishing, quiet motorcycle rides, weekend trips, traveling, RV-ing, snow/water skiing, skating, cooking out & being with family & friends are just a few of the things I like to do. I am very spontaneous.
I treat others as I wish to be treated! I respect myself as I do others. Respect has to be earned.
I strive to be a better person not only for myself but for the people in my life. No one is perfect.
Oh the Goldwing in the picture is NOT mine. I prefer to be the passenger, so I can enjoy more of the scenery. I
love nature and all its glory. I love to ride the back roads, even on weekend trips & hot weather doesn't bother me. I like to raise my arms & enjoy the rain on my body. I am retired, so I have lots of time to ride or travel.
I am a hard worker (my hands prove that) & I take great pride in anything I do. I enjoy working in my yards or a pasture, building fences, & playing with my grandson & two dachshunds! We love to laugh & play in the rain!
My friends & family say I have a very big heart, a friend that they can depend on & a very giving lady.
That I am loyal, honest, faithful, compassionate, truthful & very outspoken. I do speak what is on my mind. If you ask me, you may not want to hear it, but I will tell you the truth.
I can look like something a blind, 3-legged dog dragged up, & within an hour, be ready/dressed for a fancy ball. I can dress up as much as I can dress down. I prefer boots, jeans, & shirt to an evening gown, but I can do both & look classy either way.
Things on my bucket list are going to Hawaii, Australia, scuba diving, zip line, & maybe bungee jumping. I want to ride the "Tail of the Dragon" someday in Tennessee. Did I mention I love to laugh, & laugh at myself lots of times.

With God's help, I hope to find that special man. Some men prefer brunettes, some redheads, others blondes. I prefer tall men. Just my personal preference, but don't let that stop you. One who is a mans man! One who is confident in who he is, high self-esteem, respectful, faithful, honest, truthful & trustworthy. One that respects women & acts accordingly in their prescence. Talks without vulgarity when females are present. Wow, thats a lot to ask for in a man. LOL. Oh, and a one woman man! One who loves God, family, Country, & Texas! A man that can keep me laughing without really trying! One that aggravates in a respect manner too!
A man that sets high standards for himself & works hard to achieve his goals. A man that goes after want he wants and doesn't give up. No quitters apply! No married men need apply either. One who is as adventurous & spontaneous as I am. Just keep me laughing & we will have a lot of fun even if we are just cuddling by the fireplace drinking hot chocolate and watching a movie!
